The house exterior is twofold in terms of aesthetics, design of facades of houses additional advanced features beyond the architecture of a house with the integration of natural and man-made structures. A desire for openness along with the need for privacy at times led to unusual solution to the spatial transformation, the outside staircase, living rooms, bookcases, kitchen.
The house has a large green building components such as eco-friendly green roof garden planted a siding and deck, on-site rain and groundwater recovery, in floor heating and solar electricity.
The design responds to this as three separate blocks for sleeping, living and working the concrete blocks are connected by a spine that runs the length of the house and conceptual support of the howling westerly winds.
